The People Behind the Work

A team of neighbors, professionals, and advocates committed to building opportunity across our tristate community. Our work is powered by people who believe in dignity, access, and the strength of community.

How We Show Up

The work of Evansville Goodwill is carried forward by people who believe that how we do the work matters just as much as the outcomes we achieve. Our team is committed to leading with integrity, listening with care, and stewarding community generosity responsibly. We work collaboratively, hold ourselves accountable, and remain open to learning, because meaningful impact requires both humility and action.

  • Brandy Smith

    Vice President Of Mission Services
    Brandy Smith
I started at Goodwill in 2016 as an Employment Specialist delivering direct service and support to help clients with disabilities obtain employment. In 2017, I was promoted to Director of Human Services where I began to oversee all Goodwill Mission Service programming, including Work Solutions, SCSEP, and the Goodwill Digital Career Accelerator. In 2019, I was promoted to Vice President, Mission Services where I began high level work expanding service programming in Evansville Goodwill territory, serving clients and employees. As we look into the future, Evansville Goodwill is poised to continue expanding mission programming to fill needed service gaps in the communities served.
  • Bryan Baker

    Vice President Of Retail Operations
    Bryan Baker
I started at Evansville Goodwill in 2012 as the Director of the Family Center which was a transitional housing facility for homeless families. Since that time, I have worked in a variety of roles to learn the donated goods retail model we utilize as well as the mission that defines what Goodwill truly is.
  • Amanda Simmons

    Vice President of Finance
    Amanda Simmons
I started at Goodwill in August 2009 as an Accounts Receivable Clerk. I was hired at Goodwill a week after graduating college and it's been my first and only adult job! Throughout the years, I've held every job in the Finance department before being promoted to the Vice President. I've also taken over the IT department in the recent years and have enjoyed being a part of the huge growth of technology throughout the company. In my position, I'm able to be a part of managing the funds Goodwill receives to ensure we can reinvest and grow the organizations mission impact.
