Whether you’re applying for jobs, communicating online, or navigating everyday technology, our classes focus on practical skills you can use right away. No prior experience is required and all skill levels are welcome.

This program is open to the community and offered at no cost.

By the end of August, Jill earned her first certificate in Essential Computer Skills through the GoodSkills Academy—and the change was immediate. As she put it,“In just a short amount of time, I had the confidence to use terminology I hadn’t known before,” and she said she felt “empowered and relieved.”

What made the experience stand out was how approachable it felt from day one. Jill shared that she was grateful to find a program that respected her starting point and helped her build momentum quickly. Now, she’s planning to keep going and “can’t wait to accumulate more certificates.”

Jill also emphasized the bigger picture for the community: “this is a resource anyone in the community can utilize,” and noted that support for the program creates an “ingenious” opportunity for Vanderburgh County.
