This program is open to the community and offered at no cost.
STEP Into Opportunity
STEP Into Opportunity is a Goodwill-led workforce readiness program offered through the Opportunity Center for individuals looking to build skills and reenter the workforce with confidence.
The program is offered monthly and consists of a 20-hour experience designed to prepare participants for today’s job market with the goal of leaving the program ready for employment.
Participants focus on practical, real-world preparation, including:
- Workplace readiness and confidence
- Digital skills for job searching and employment
- Financial literacy and money management
- Goal setting and stability planning
- Communication and professional behavior
STEP Into Opportunity is designed to be accessible and supportive, with no judgment and no one-size-fits-all path. Participants are supported throughout the program and connected to job opportunities as they prepare for their next step.
